On equilibrium existence in infinite horizon economies

In sequential economies with finite or infinite-lived real assets in positive net supply, we introduce constraints on the amount of borrowing in terms of the market value of physical endowments. We show that, when utility functions are either unbounded and separable in states of nature or separable in commodities, these borrowing constraints not only preclude Ponzi schemes but also induce endogenous Radner bounds on short-sales. Therefore, we obtain existence of equilibrium. Moreover, equilibrium also exists when both assets are numerarie and utility functions are quasilinear in the commodity used as numerarie.Equilibrium, Infinite horizon incomplete markets, Infinite-lived real assets.

[SPA] Esta investigación analiza en el entorno de una competición deportiva el impulso en la motivación que para los equipos tiene el obtener una segunda oportunidad de alcanzar el objetivo deseado. Para ello, utilizamos la liga profesional de baloncesto estadounidense (NBA), donde dos equipos compiten por la victoria en cada partido. A través del análisis de 390 contiendas que acabaron en empate en su tiempo reglamentario, y por ende dirimieron el resultado final en la prórroga, mostramos que el equipo que consigue empatar el partido en la última jugada del mismo tiene mayor probabilidad de ganar en la prórroga si actúa como visitante pero no si actúa como local. Anotar primero en la prórroga, asimismo, es un factor que incrementa la probabilidad de victoria tanto para el equipo local como para el visitante. [ENG] This research analyzes the boost in motivation that teams experience when getting a second chance to achieve the desired objective within competition settings. To achieve this aim we analyzed the NBA framework, where two teams compete for victory in each game. Through the analysis of 390 matches that ended in a draw, and therefore the final result was reached in the overtime, we show how teams tying a game on the final play of the match are more likely to win in the overtime when playing away, but not at home. Debemos al feminismo de la segunda mitad del siglo XX la problematización filosófica del cuerpo. El cuerpo, antes una instancia evidente, un dato puro, científico, comienza a ser considerada una entidad impura, política, contaminada por el poder. ¿Y si el cuerpo mismo estuviera sometido a la construcción social, o lo que es lo mismo, y si el sexo no fuera más que género? Transitamos esta senda de la mano de tres grandes filósofas: Judith Butler, Donna Haraway y Beatriz Preciado. Recurrencias etimológicas. Los nombres de animales (I)

Se examina la etimología que viene de un nombre de animal, según el diccionario de Corominas y una gran parte del DRAE. Podemos ver algunas regularidades en estas evoluciones semánticas. Hoy en día, se utiliza más de la mitad de los nombres de los animales con el fin de: 1) describir a las personas; 2) los titulares de nombres; 3) plantas de nombre; 4) el empleo de nombres; 5) nombrar los colores.The etymology that comes from a name of animal, according to Corominas' dictionary and a large part of D.R.A.E., is examined. We can see some regularities in these semantic evolutions. Deconstructing AMO framework: A systematic review

Purpose: The AMO framework has been widely accepted in HRM literature for explaining the linkage between human resources practices and performance. However, it remains unclear whether this model has been fully demonstrated or not. Hence, we propose a systematic review that aims at identifying those investigations that have thoroughly tested the model, as well as the approaches used by them. Design/methodology: Systematic literature review, filtering scientific papers published in journals indexed in Scopus, Web of Science or Google Scholar, from the year 1993 to 2016, in the field of Social Sciences and Humanities with research that indirectly apply the AMO model in their analysis. Findings: AMO model is an excellent and structured framework that provides a better understanding of the relationship between HRM and performance. Moreover, the effectiveness of the model's proposal appears to be beyond doubt. In fact, a well trained and skilled employee will perform better, and a motivated worker will be ready to "go the extra mile". Likewise, if the work environment does not provide adequate opportunities, both abilities and motivation might become meaningless. However, we consider that many other factors could influence the positive effects of HPWS. As a matter of fact, not only contextual factors, but also individual beliefs, personal affinities, or personal circumstances (among others) might affect the implementation of these practices and the subsequent outcomes. For this reason, we consider that developing an HRM model that perfectly fit any situation is a very complicated, if not impossible, task. Research limitations/implications: The results show a significant variability in both research approaches and variables taken into consideration. In addition, it seems that little research has been conducted to verify the AMO model directly. Therefore, we consider that there is a great need to study the model from a more systematic perspective. A thorough understanding of the model could lead to a better understanding of the problems that organizations face when implementing human resource practices. Originality/value: Our study shed light on some aspects of the AMO framework within the HRM context. Specifically, we aimed to identify whether or not it is possible to confirm the model as it was originally proposed. Los weblogs en la enseñanza/aprendizaje de una lengua extranjera (FLE)

Los blogs son sitios web donde se publican de forma cronológica artículos de diversa temática. Su facilidad de uso ha hecho que se conviertan en una revolución. Dan voz a todos los que quieren hacerse oír en Internet, sin necesidad de tener conocimientos especiales de informática. Su potencial como herramienta en el ámbito de la enseñanza es enorme. Y es justamente en este ámbito, en el educativo, en el que queremos centrar nuestra investigación Considerando los distintos tipos de blogs que podemos encontrar en un ámbito pedagógico (blog del profesor, blog de los estudiantes, blog de la clase), el propósito de nuestra investigación es determinar (sometiendo diversos blogs educativos a un análisis detallado a través de una parrilla de evaluación) el uso real que se hace de un blog por parte de profesores y estudiantes y precisar ,a través de su análisis, las repercusiones que el blog puede tener en el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje de una lengua extranjera (el francés en nuestro caso). Como hipótesis de nuestra investigación, nos interesa determinar si los blogs: ¿ Favorecen la empatía, dando voz a los estudiantes al cobrar protagonismo haciendo sus propias publicaciones ¿ Potencian la capacidad investigadora por parte de los estudiantes a través de la Red. ¿ Facilitan la comunicación con el profesor y otros estudiantes ¿ Facilitan la comunicación con estudiantes de otras clases y de otras culturas. ¿ Actúan como almacén de actividades (en el marco de la clase) consultables y renovables en permanencia. Los resultados obtenidos en estas valoraciones nos darán pie para validar o no las hipótesis de partida de nuestra investigación

Se pueden distinguir ciertas regularidades en estas evoluciones semánticas. Functional analysis of stress protein data in a flor yeast subjected to a biofilm forming condition

AbstractIn this data article, an OFFGEL fractionator coupled to LTQ Orbitrap XL MS equipment and a SGD filtering were used to detect in a biofilm-forming flor yeast strain, the maximum possible number of stress proteins under the first stage of a biofilm formation conditions (BFC) and under an initial stage of fermentation used as reference, so-called non-biofilm formation condition (NBFC). Protein functional analysis – based on cellular components and biological process GO terms – was performed for these proteins through the SGD Gene Ontology Slim Mapper tool.
